EXODUS
PART I
Brief
This low poly semi-epic child hood tribute space saga called EXODUS was born when Peder Norrby (Trapcode/Red Giant) asked me to make a short film using Trapcode MIR and his other plugins. I accepted the challenge, made up a multi part narrative and went to work, letting the plugin affect both creative, narrative and technical results.
This is the first part of a space epic, establishing the protagonists and a fragment of the universe as well as the timeline in which EXODUS takes place.
There will never be a part II and you know it.

A SIMPLE STORY
This animated short film commissioned by Trapcode (Red Giant) was created by me with the help of producer and friend Thomas Oger. Using Trapcode Suite, particularly Trapcode Mir, I tried to conjure up an alternate universe set in space with low poly visuals and all the glow effects I could find. This project prioritized creativity over realism, allowing for experimentation and instant feedback. Additionally, I composed the film’s soundtrack, trying my best to stick to the concept of ‘art by accident’ to capture the essence of the narrative.
